Carol Rodgers RSS
ESL with Mrs. Rodgers

Welcome to ESL! I have proudly taught in Aledo ISD for fifteen years, and it is a great place to be!  I have been a first grade, third grade, and fourth grade teacher, in addition to serving in the computer lab, and this year I am excited to be an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher.
In ESL, we will work on our listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while having fun along the way.  It will be exciting to teach many different age groups ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade.
I believe that all children can learn, and I love guiding them along their educational journey. My students are blessings to me, and I look forward to the time that I get to spend with them each day. My motto is: I want to be the teacher to my students that I would want for my own children.

This year I am excited to team together with Mrs. Montgomery at McCall in the mornings, and then I will travel to Walsh Elementary to teach ESL in the afternoons.  It is going to be a wonderful year!
